Welcome

Welcome to Strayer Middle School!  We are home to the 7th and 8th grade students in the Quakertown Community School District.  Our students are supported by wonderful families, and passionate teachers and support staff.  The QCSD district goals lay the foundation for our vision:

The Strayer community will unite to ensure our students are healthy, safe, engaged, and challenged through a supportive environment of mutual respect.

Enter to learn, Leave to serve.

Strayer staff is committed to...

  • Developing and consistently reinforcing a positive culture for staff and students to improve relationships and academic growth.
  • Challenging all students to persevere and work to their potential to increase learning of content and skills.

Students are encouraged to reach their academic goals and pursue interests outside of the classroom.  We challenge students using a variety of instructional strategies needed for teaching and learning of a rigorous curriculum in both core and related studies.  We are focused on preparing students for their next educational journey at the high school, and for future success in life.  Outside of the classroom, students can enjoy a wide selection of sports, activities, and clubs.  Making connections in and out of the classroom is key during the middle years.  We also have many opportunities for service learning to help reinforce our district’s culture of service, respect, and inclusion.

I hope to make many connections with students and parents throughout the year.  Please gather with me at the monthly Middle School Parent Meetings to increase communication and engagement between school and home.  I am honored to serve the Quakertown community.
  Together we make Strayer Stronger!

Respectfully,

Dr. Jenn Bubser

Principal
