Policy

Use and/or Possession of Tobacco Products

The Quakertown Community School District has recently updated disciplinary procedures for students found to be using or possessing tobacco products on District property, in District facilities or on a school bus. This policy is a consequence of a newly enacted state law making it illegal for students to use or possess tobacco products in public schools, on school property, or on school buses. Violations of the state law are punishable by a fine not to exceed $50.00 plus court costs.
