SCIENCE
The grade 8 science units are designed to engage students in a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to learning that focuses on the characteristics and structure of matter and the forces and energy that influence them.
By the end of the grade 8 course, students will be able to:
- Make accurate laboratory measurements.
- Write a laboratory report using collective class information.
- Use evidence to support conclusions.
- Design and conduct controlled experiments.
- State examples of how science is an integral part of our lives.
