Mark Your Calendars, Strayer Families - it's almost "Back to School" time, and we have lots of events to welcome you back!

New Family Orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 19th from 6pm - 7pm. Incoming students and families will have the opportunity to meet their teachers and explore SMS!
And if that evening doesn't work for your schedule, we will be offering two days of self-guided tours of Strayer, on:

August 13th from 12pm - 3pm
August 24th from 12pm - 3pm

And finally, don't forget - our first day of school is August 31st at 8am! Doors open at 7:50am! We can't wait to see you!

This part-time opportunity offers:
-Approximately 10 hours per week

Participating in middle school athletics is a great way for students to stay active, build confidence, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and create lasting friendships while proudly representing their school community.

Students can register for:

- Field Hockey
- Football
- Co-Ed Soccer
- Volleyball

Whether your student is a returning athlete or interested in trying a sport for the first time, we encourage them to get involved and experience all that Strayer athletics has to offer.

FREE SUMMER LUNCHES FOR KIDS & TEENS!

When school is out, nutritious meals are still available, thanks to the St. Luke's University Health Network Summer Meals Program, free lunches are available to all children and teens ages 18 and younger throughout the summer. No registration is required.

Days and Times: Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Note: No meals will be served on July 4.

In addition to lunch, children will receive a bag of non-perishable food each Friday to help support families over the weekend. Families will also be connected with fresh, local produce through the Quakertown Farmers Market.

On Monday, June 1st, our sixth-grade students had the opportunity to explore Strayer Middle School! Tour guides welcomed students as they entered Strayer and headed to the auditorium to learn some of the ins and outs of middle school. Principal Dr. Crater and Assistant Principal Ms. Maddon stopped by to say hello and welcome students during their tour of the school. Sixth graders also met with club representatives and explored the hallways! It was a great day to start planning for the 2026–2027 school year.

This past Friday, members of the Strayer Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and Select Choir attended Music in the Parks.

For this trip, each group presented two pieces for adjudication in the morning and received awards for their performances in the afternoon at Dorney Park.

The Wind Symphony received a rating of Excellent. The Strayer Orchestra received a rating of Superior. The Select Choir received a rating of Superior and won first place. The Select choir also received the award for best overall choral performance.

Congratulations to all musicians!

St. Luke's will be offering FREE athlete physicals for the 2026-2027 school year for grades 7th - 12th on May 27th at the Quakertown Community High School from 5pm to 7:30pm.

Track Stars Shine at Penn Relay Qualifiers!
Our sprint teams gave it their all at Hatboro-Horsham last week, and the results are in!

Girls’ 4x1 Team Qualified! Sadie W., Cecily C., Kate H., and Morgan R. placed 8th out of 48 schools with a time of 54.16 seconds, officially punching their ticket to the Penn Relays.

Boys’ 4x1 Team Personal Best: Elliot M., Ben F., Rasool H., and Logan C. placed 13th overall, won their heat, and set a new personal record of 48.94 seconds.

It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved. Thank you for your support as we head to the Penn Relays—hopefully, we’ll be bringing back a medal for the trophy case!
